MARIE BASTIN

 

Marie Bastin age 98, of Middleburg, KY, passed away on Thursday March 28th, 2024, at Liberty Care and Rehab. She was born August 10th, 1925, in Middleburg, KY, a daughter of the late Frank L. and Eva Elizabeth Cook Jones.

 

Marie was the widow of Virgil Bastin who passed away on July 26th, 2019.

 

Marie was a housewife and member of Middleburg Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include: three children: Charlotte King of Liberty, Wilma Caudill of Mt. Washington, KY and Kenny and (Betty Jo) Bastin of Middleburg, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings.

 

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday April 1st, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

ANNA HARRIS

 

Anna Mae Overstreet Harris, of Dunnville, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at her home. She was 78.

 

Born on December 14, 1945, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Clellie and Lillie Mae Woods Overstreet. Anna was formerly a retail clerk at The Trading Post and worked at Liberty Sportswear, Osh Kosh, and Phillips Day Care. She was a proud member of Salem United Methodist Church since the age of eleven. Affectionately known as “Granny Mae,” she loved UK basketball, flowers, gardening, and cats and dogs, especially her dog, Ynetta. She married the late Jerry Harris on August 30, 1966.

 

She is survived by a daughter, Shelia Bowmer (John Ambs); a granddaughter, Tiffany Bruine (Jeremy New); three great-grandchildren, Jaycee Goode, Harley Galloway, and Avayah Galloway; and two brothers, Jackie Overstreet and Johnnie Overstreet, both of Dunnville.

 

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. John Loper officiating.

 

Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Georgeanne (Berry) Meeks, 82, of Cincinnati, sadly left us on Thursday March 21, 2024.

 

Faithful wife of the late Victor Meeks, Georgeanne is survived by her loving son, Greg (Vicky), and daughters Donna, Kim and Lisa Meeks, and chosen family members Patti, Claire, Ryan, Tracey and Jake.

 

As per Georgeanne’s request, no funeral service will be held.

JOSHUA LYNN

 

Joshua Earl Lynn, 38, of Liberty, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on March 20,
2024.Josh had a difficult entry into this world, spending 11 days in the University of Kentucky
NICU, so it seems fitting that his exit was peaceful, even if it came too soon.


Born in Somerset, Kentucky, on Dec. 11, 1985, Josh was a longtime caregiver for his
mother and loved to cook and enjoyed making meals for family and friends. Figuring out
how to make broken things work again was one of his favorite past times. He was a
lover of all animals and enjoyed growing his own food.


He is survived by his mother, Edith Louise Lynn; a brother, Mike Lynn of Dunnville; three
sisters, Karen Lynn of Richmond, Teresa Lynn of Liberty and Melinda Royster of
Richmond, a brother-in-law, Laranza Royster of Richmond, a nephew and niece, and
aunts, uncles and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton
Lynn, and grandparents Elmer and Thelma Lynn and Benny and Edith Hendren.


Visitation will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

 

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2024.

 

Burial will be in Dogwood Gap Cemetery.

HARRISON SMITH JR.

 

Harrison Smith, Jr., age 87 of Eubank, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

 

Junior was born on November 9, 1936 in Harlan, KY to the late Harrison Smith Sr. and Lillie Mae Hensley Smith.  He loved spending time with his family.  

 

He is survived by one son, Brent Walton Smith (Susan Miller) of Somerset; one daughter, Kimberly Rae (Stan) Leslie of Crawfordsville, IN; three brothers, Jay Harold Smith of Somerset, Berlin (Cindy) Smith of Somerset and Alan Coker of Elizabethtown, KY; one sister, Fannie Stacy of Elizabethtown, KY; five grandchildren, Tiffany Evans, Timothy Leslie, Travis Leslie, Eric Grant and Brent Smith, Jr.; eight great grandchildren, Thomas Grant, Christian Grant, Haley Evans, Madison Evans, Kinley Leslie, Addilynn Leslie, Brayden Leslie and Grayson Leslie; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

 

Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Lillie Smith; his wife, Brenda Joyce Wilson Smith, whom he married on February 2, 1957 in Lebanon, IN and she preceded him on May 25, 2019; one brother, Donnie Smith; and one sister, Betty Burton.

 

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

 

His funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 11:00am at Huffaker Church of God with Bro. Chuck Elam and Bro. Jack Carpenter officiating.

Hagen Levi Redford, of Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. He was 3 months old.

 

Born on December 19, 2023, in Danville, Kentucky, he was the son of Christina Redford.

 

In addition to his mother, Hagen is survived by a sister, Nevaeh May Wethington; a brother, Jaxon Lee Wethington; and maternal grandparents, May (Brandon) Earles.

 

No public services will be held.

JUDY HAMILTON

 

Judy Eileen Hamilton age 64, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Tuesday March 19th, 2024, at the Casey County Hospital. She was born April 12th, 1959, in Middleburg, KY, a daughter of the late James Burnon “J.B.” Hamilton and Devola Raney Hamilton.

 

Judy was a former store clerk for B.P. and Sav-a-lot and a member of Grove Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one sister: Paula and (Gale) Durham of Liberty, two brothers: Burnon and (Hazel) Hamilton of Hustonville, and Joe and (Julie) Hamilton of Liberty, three nieces: Becky Speaks, Holly Wilson and Amber Dishon, seven nephews: Carlos Hamilton, Mark Baxter, Brad Hamilton, Brent Hamilton, Jordan Hamilton, Derik Durham, and Jeremy Durham.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Carolyn Sue Baxter.

DAVID PONDER

 

David Tarter Ponder age 72, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Saturday March 16th, 2024, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was born August 29th, 1951, in Liberty, KY, a son of the late David P. and Dorothy Tarter Ponder.

 

David T. was a self-employed logger for Ponder logging, a farmer and he enjoyed spending time on the farm and with his family.

 

Survivors include: his spouse: Diann Long Ponder, two sons: Derek Ponder of Liberty and David and (Shari) Ponder of Liberty, and three grandchildren: Logan, Lucas and Laura Ponder.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Michael Ponder.

 

Cremation rites were honored by Bartle Funeral Home. Services will be held at a later date.

 

GARNETT GLOVER

 

Garnett Truman Glover, of Elkhorn, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Baptist Health Lexington. He was 78.

 

Born on June 7, 1945, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Charles Bryant and Nanna Lee Tucker Glover. Truman was a farmer. He was a member of Pine Grove Church. He enjoyed coon and deer hunting, fishing, watching westerns, four-wheeler riding, and gardening.

 

He is survived by his spouse of nearly sixty years, Donna Long Glover, who he wed on April 18, 1964; three daughters, April Imogene (Loyd) Reppert of Elkhorn, Melissa Faye (Steve) Phillips of Liberty, and Patricia Lee (Rick) Cinnamon of Elkhorn; a son, Garnett Truman Glover II of Elkhorn; five grandchildren, George Wayne (Nikka) Bonnett, Jerry Allan Peavey, Jodie (Jason) Blevins, Holly Marie Brockman, and Michael Truman Brockman; and great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Jaxon, Jason, John, Jasper, Nevaeh, Kaylee, Raylee, Natalei, Aviana, and Lilli. Other survivors include two brothers, Willard Glover and Norman (Pam) Glover; and four sisters, Barbara Wethington, Karen Weiss, Mary Woodrum, and Dolly Tucker.

 

In addition to his parents, Truman is preceded in death by a grandchild, C.J. Phillips; five brothers, Earl Glover, Merle Glover, David Glover, Henry Glover, and Donnie Glover; and two sisters, Lorene Workman, and Nancy Cochran.

AMOS JOHNSON

 

Amos Johnson, of Elkhorn, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at his home. He was 85.

 

Born on February 12, 1939, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Abner and Allie Rodgers Johnson. Amos formerly worked at Fruit of the Loom and Wolford & Wethington as a night watchman. He was a deacon at Victory Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing gospel music.

 

He is survived by his wife, Mary E. “Jean” Clements Johnson, who he wed on May 13, 1961; two sons, William (Cathy) Johnson of Campbellsville and Matthew Johnson of Elkhorn; two daughters, Barbara Bishop of Elkhorn and Sandra (Pete) Ferrer of Liberty; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Marcum, Dorothy (Kenneth) Rodgers, and Elva (Junior) McFarland; and sisters-in-law, Kathy Johnson and Kelley Johnson.

 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Vergie Hatfield and Retha McGuire; five brothers, Kermit “Gene” Johnson, Manuel Johnson, Shellie Rodgers, Russell Johnson, and Ricky Johnson; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

HAROLD CRITCHFIELD

 

Harold Wayne Critchfield, 75, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, March 11, 2024, at the Lexington VA Medical Center, surrounded by his family. 

 

He was born on February 7, 1949, in Lexington, Kentucky, where he grew up and graduated from Henry Clay High School. He attended the University of Kentucky briefly, but then decided to serve his country by enlisting in the Navy where he was a corpsman from 1969 to 1973. Upon honorable discharge from the Navy, he finished his college education, graduating from Eastern Kentucky University. 

 

He returned to Lexington, KY after college to help run the family business, Critchfield Meats, with his siblings until he retired in 2007. 

 

Harold was a life-long hunter, fisherman, and was passionate about playing and watching sports. While he enjoyed all those things well into his 70s, he decided at age 56 to learn to play piano. He took lessons, but was mostly self-taught, and mastered many classical pieces by Bach and Beethoven. In his last weeks of playing piano, however, he was practicing “I Will Always Love You” for his wife, Martha.   

 

Harold was full of laughter and fun. He loved to get out and go in his truck, study the Bible, and was a voracious reader of the news. He was generous, often emptying the freezer to give food to others. He loved to grill steaks and cook, gather with family for holidays, and was a friend to everyone he met.

 

Harold is survived by his wife, Martha Critchfield; three brothers, Larry (Brenda), Mike (Debbie), and Mark (Susan); two sisters, Gail Morrison (Terry) and Sandra Hudson (Don); four stepchildren, Tim Smith, Warren Hendricks, Ben Patton, and Dana Patton; numerous nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos B. and Opal Wise Critchfield. He will be deeply missed. 

 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 16, at Westside Christian Church, 966 Campbellsville Street, in Liberty, Kentucky. The service will begin at 2pm, led by pastor and close friend Marty Shackelford, with food and fellowship afterwards.

DAVID WILSON

 

David Russell Wilson, age 81, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at his residence.

 

David was born on November 9, 1942 in Somerset, KY to the late Dolphus Wilson and Edith Simpson Wilson.  He retired from Crane Plumbing.  

 

He is survived by his son, David “Rusty” (Matina) Wilson, Jr. of Nancy; one granddaughter, Shelby Lynn (Chad) Simpson of Eubank; one brother, Wayne (Joyce) Wilson of Somerset; one sister, Jan (Gerald) Stringer of Nancy; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

 

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Sue Hunley Wilson, whom he married on November 27, 1964 in Somerset and she preceded him on November 13, 2022.

 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

 

His funeral service will follow on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 1:00pm with Bro. Gary Clark officiating.

Wilma was the widow of Benny Beckham Mathews.

 

Wilmas was a housewife.

 

Survivors include: one daughter: Melissa June Mathews of Liberty, four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and three sisters: Velma Martin of Liberty, Marcella Coffman of Liberty and Patricia Douglas of Perryville.

Artis Ancil Mills age 83, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Monday March 4th, 2024, at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was born July 28th, 1940, in Casey Co., KY, a son of the late Howard Wesley Mills and Emma Beatrice King Mills.

 

Art was a partner in Murphy-Mills Farm Supply, retired Forman of Caldwell Tanks and a farmer.

 

Survivors include: his spouse: Noladean Whited Mills, two daughters: Sondra and (James) Hudgens of Gallatin, TN and Rhonda and (Larry) Cochran of Liberty, and two sisters: Bernadeen and (Dale) McPherson of Louisville and Kathy and (Tom) Wilson of Prospect, KY.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Clinton Mills.

Maverick Colt Winans, infant son of Leonard and Samantha Wethington Winans, of Liberty, was born into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Ft. Logan Hospital in Stanford, KY.

 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers, Archer, Jaxson, Hunter, and Trapper; sisters, Aubrey, Chayce, and Jasmyn; maternal grandmother, Jennifer (Kevin) Wallace of Liberty; maternal grandfather, Joseph (Leona Perkins) Wethington of Liberty; and maternal great-grandmother, Polly Monday of Liberty.

 

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leonard Winans Sr.; and maternal great-grandfather, Carl Monday.

ROBERT KAUL

 

Robert Michael Kaul, of Liberty, by way of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. He was 78.

 

Born on August 16, 1945, in Wamego, Kansas, he was the son of the late Dewey and Anna Kaul. Robert was an Automotive Consultant and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a Kansas Jayhawks fan and a devoted Grandfather that loved his Grandkids very much.

 

He is survived by a son, Ryan (Kalicia) Kaul of Frisco, Texas; and two grandchildren, Jackson and Gracie.

DAPHENE NOE

 

Daphene (Roy) Noe, born May 2, 1934, of Liberty, ended her Earthly journey on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Liberty Care Center. Born in Argyle, KY, she was the daughter of Oscar and Stella (Haste) Roy. Daphene married Virgil Noe on May 20, 1954. She was a homemaker and a member of Cowden’s Chapel Church of God. She loved flowers and the color pink.

 

Survivors includes five sons, Preston (Prep), William, Clinton, Elvin and Earl (Shorty) Noe, all of Liberty; two daughters, Norma (Gary) Vest and Jenny Means, both of Liberty; one brother, Dallas (Nancy) Roy; brother-in-law, Harold Lynn; and sister-in-Law, Fayrene Roy. Other survivors include five grandchildren, Brian (Ashley) Vest, Stephanie (Johnnie) McAninch, Sara (Chad) Davenport, Ashley (Daniel) Cole, and Telisa Hayden; four great-grandchildren, Matthew and Abigail Davenport, Maggie Vest, and Jonah Cole; and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Besides her parents and spouse, she is preceded in death by twins, Gerald and Geraldine; daughter, Bernice; one sister, Larene Lynn; four brothers, Printis, Otha, Earl and Tearl (June) Roy; son-in law, Greg Means; and special friends, Esco and Jackie Hankins.

 

Pallbearers will be Brian Vest, Matthew and Chad Davenport, Johnnie McAninch, Daniel Cole, and Kyle Weddle.

 

Honorary Pallbearers will be her five sons, Jonah Cole, and Dallas Roy.

LESLIE 'LES' RUSSELL

 

Leslie “Les” Russell, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Liberty Care and Rehab. He was 83.

 

Born on February 11, 1941, in Campbellsville, he was the son of the late Claude and Annie Lee Saunders Russell. He was a member of Hilltop Church of Christ. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed his work as an excavator and heavy equipment operator. He loved riding motorcycles.

 

He is survived by two sons, Thomas (Kimberly) Russell of Campbellsville and Roger (Teresa) Thompson of Windsor; two daughters, Kendra (Junior) Weddle of Liberty and Lora (Ricky) Montgomery of Russell Springs; six grandchildren, Cody (Miranda) Weddle, Ashton (Jeremy) Stearns, Casey (Brittany) Weddle, Wesley (Allison) Thompson, Dustin (Kayla) Montgomery, and Kyle Montgomery; eleven great-grandchildren, Addalie, Emmalie, Carman, William Jasper, Weston, Maggie Jo, Kylie, Macy, Max, Jaxon, and Olivia; and a sister, Grace Wilson of Campbellsville.

Vonis Howard Brinson, age 86, of Somerset, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, following a brief illness.

 

Vonis was born September 30, 1937 in Blaze Valley, Kentucky, son of the late Arsbur Brinson and the late Irene Cook Brinson.  He married Ruth Vaught on April 24, 1959.  They were blessed with a son, Larry Joe. Vonis proudly served as Corporal in the U.S. Army.  He was best known for his 26 years working at the Somerset Coca-Cola Bottling Company, serving as Manager the last 11 years.  

 

He later owned and operated Southport Coin Laundry.  Vonis was a faithful member of Rock Lick Baptist Church for almost 65 years, serving as church clerk and trustee, until his declining health no longer allowed him to attend.

 

He is survived by his wife Ruth Vaught Brinson; son Larry Joe (Melinda) Brinson; grandchildren, Suzanne Marie and Joel David; brother Dellis (Imadene) Brinson; sister-in-law Oma Vaught; brother-in-law Paul (Paula) Vaught; cousin Sheila Cook; and many nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, Arsbur and Irene Brinson, he was preceded in death by father/mother-in-law Henry and Nannie Vaught; brother-in-law, Glen Vaught; sister-in-law Christine (Leo) Farmer; and uncle Howard (Maisie) Cook; nephew Frankie Burton; great niece Tina Brinson Thornton.

 

Visitation will be on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.  

 

His funeral service will follow on Friday at 12:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Evans and Bro. Brad Gover officiating.  

 

Burial will be at Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY.  Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.

NANCY GILL

 

Nancy E. Gill, of Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was 72.

 

Born January 15, 1952, in Casey County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Rose Richardson Noel and was raised by her grandparents, Kelly Richardson and Rena Richardson. Nancy enjoyed working crossword puzzles, sewing, and watching TV. She loved babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren.

 

Survivors include her son, Patrick (Tiffani) Gill of Liberty; daughters, Joyce Brumley and Keli Ellsworth, both of Liberty; brothers, Glenn and Bobby Noel, both of Nicholasville, and Anthony Noel of Lexington; grandchildren, Matthew, Steven, Christopher, Tolbert, Mason, Molly, Gracie, and Emmy; and great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Steven.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Patrick James Gill II; brother, Albert Noel; and sisters, Joyce Smith and Joyce Lawson.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, March 2, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Pittman officiating.

 

Burial will follow in the Willow Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Friday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

DONALD GODBEY

 

Donald Gene Godbey, of Liberty, passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was 87.

 

Born August 17, 1936, in the Bethelridge community of Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Pleasant Wesley Godbey and Mary Ellen Sneed Godbey. Don retired after 20 years from the United States Air Force, having achieved the rank of Master Sergeant, serving in all seven major air commands as Superintendent Aircrew Life Support. He was proud to have served during Vietnam and was dedicated to his country. After retirement, Don enjoyed farming in Casey County. He was a hardworking farmer who thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors on his tractor that he truly believed was a bulldozer to improve his land. Don was a former Elder at Brush Creek Christian Church. He was a member of the Westside Christian Church. Don was a former dedicated poll worker in Casey County.

 

Survivors include his dear wife, Nancy McDonough Godbey, whom he married on June 13, 1959 at James Connally Air Force Base in Waco, Texas; son, Donald (and Tammie) Godbey II of Liberty; daughters, Donna (and Paul) Williams of Liberty and Linda (and Jim) Sabo of Campbellsville; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

 

Don was preceded in death by his parents; 7 brothers, who all also proudly served in the US military; and 5 sisters.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Westside Christian Church with Bro. Marty Shackleford officiating.

 

Burial will follow in the Bethelridge Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard.

 

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00PM Tuesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until 1:00PM at Westside Christian Church.

 

Pallbearers will be Donnie Godbey III, Thomas Williams, Austin Sabo, Andrew Dornbrook, Caden Wheatley, and Steve Spears.

RONALD LAWLESS

 

Ronald Lawless, of Casey County, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, in Danville, KY. He was 73.

 

Born February 6, 1951, in Casey County, KY, he was a son of the late R.B. Lawless and Sylvia Mason Lawless. Ronald retired after 34 years as a salesperson for Paul’s Discount.  He was a Deacon at Valley Oak Baptist Church. Ronald loved his farm and fishing.

 

Survivors include his wife, Alice Baker Lawless, whom he wed on September 25, 1971; sons, Randall Wayne (and Anissa) Lawless of Pineville and Russell Wade Lawless of Liberty; daughter, Juretta Lawless of Liberty; brother, Robert (and Judy) Lawless of Liberty;  and 4 grandchildren, Adrian, Austyn, Carter, and Bella.

 

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Ray Lawless; and a great-grandson, Brayden Alan Statham.

 

Funeral services will be at 10:00AM on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Tyler Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley Oak Cemetery.

DON THOMAS

 

Don Paul Thomas age 81, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday February 28th, 2024, at his residence. He was born January 8th, 1943, in Casey Co., KY, a son of the late Marion and Lillie Hampton Thomas.

 

Don was the widower of Anna Louise Roy Thomas who passed away on February 17th, 2017.

Don was a farmer, a devoted husband and father. He loved the outdoors and fishing and was a faithful member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.

 

Survivors include: four sons: Paul and (Jennifer) Thomas of Liberty, Ronnie and (Traci) Thomas of Liberty, Michael and (Amy) Thomas of Liberty and Steven and (Christy) Thomas of Danville, nine grandchildren: Tamera, Megan, Corey, Hailey, Hilary, Madysen, Rylee, Casieus and Katelyn, ten great grandchildren: Branson, Myah, Lilly, Wesson, Halenna, Gavin, Harper, Eloise, Ronan and Nova Louise and one sister: Shirley Elmore of Liberty.

 

In addition to his parents, and spouse he was preceded in death by four brothers: Ralph, Neal, Dale and Gerald Thomas and one sister: Charlotte Thomas.

 

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday March 2nd, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

 

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday March 2nd, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Larry Luttrell officiating.

 

Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Contown.
