ARRESTS OVER THE LAST 24HRS

 

  • Melinda C. Belt, 26 of Jamestown, arrested by KSP for No Registration Plates/Receipt, DUI (Aggravated Circumstance), & Possession of an Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle.

Lodged in the Russell County Jail.

 

  • Vernon Bates, 37 of Somerset, arrested by KSP for Failure to Wear Seat Belts, No Insurance, No Registration Receipt, No Operator's License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, DUI (Aggravated Circumstance), Hindering Prosecution/Apprehension-2nd Degree, & Terroristic Threatening-3rd Degree.
  • Jared A. Rhodus, 31 of Somerset, arrested by Somerset Police for Public Intoxication of a Controlled Substance, & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Lodged in the Pulaski County Jail.

 

  • Hanna J. Evans, 22 of Danville, arrested by Stanford Police for Receiving Stolen Property (under $500), & Fleeing/Evading Police-2nd Degree (on foot).
  • Paul E. Ballard, 67 of Crab Orchard, arrested by Lancaster Police for Wanton Endangerment-1st Degree, & Menacing.

ON LINE PREDATOR ARRESTED IN LINCOLN COUNTY

 

A Fayette County man was arrested in Lincoln County when he went to meet an under age girl and met up with Deputies instead.

 

A concerned father notified Deputies on Tuesday about messages he discovered on his 12 year old daughters phone. 

 

58 year old John Ault of Lexington showed up to meet up with the girl at the old Moreland Dollar store, but instead was met by an undercover deputy.  

 

Ault is charged with use of electronic communications to procure a minor for sex, and unauthorized parking in a handicap zone. 

 

Case remains under investigation by the Lincoln County Sheriffs Office.

RUSSELL COUNTY AUTHORITIES SEARCHING FOR MISSING TEEN

 

Jamestown Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 15-year-old boy.

 

Austin Passmore was last seen Wednesday as he ran away from the Department of Social Services office in Jamestown. 

 

He is described as a white male, 5'6" tall, 150 pounds with brown hair & eyes. 

 

Police say he was wearing a tan shirt and blue jeans.

 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Austin Passmore are asked to contact authorities as quickly as possible.

  • Amy L. Lambert, 39 of Waynesburg, arrested by KSP for Bail Jumping-1st Degree, Possession of Methamphetamine-1st Degree/3rd Offense, & Non-Payment of Court Costs/Fees/Fines.

Lodged in the Casey County Jail.

 

  • Tyler S. Morrow, 29 of Monticello, arrested for Trafficking in Methamphetamine-1st Degree, & Possession of Heroin/Opiates.
  • Sean M. Reed Jr., 31 of Niagra Falls, NY, arrested by Pulaski County Sheriff's Office for Possession of Cocaine/Marijuana.

Lodged in the Pulaski County Jail.

 

  • Matthew Jordan, 36 of Lancaster, arrested by Garrard Co. Police for Criminal Mischief-1st Degree, & Violation of a Ky EPO/DVO.
  • Kelli Anderson, 31 of Lancaster, arrested by Lancaster Police for Burglary-1st Degree, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, & Criminal Mischief-1st Degree.

SEARCH WARRANTS LEAD TO 3 ARRESTS WEDNESDAY

 

Authorities execute two search warrants yesterday, resulting in 3 arrests.

 

Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston reports the first warrant was executed at 144 Luda Street in Russell Springs early Wednesday morning. Numerous items reported stolen in Russell County were recovered.

 

Information received at that location led officers to a residence on Alan Schoolhouse Road in Adair County where more stolen items were recovered and drugs seized after a search warrant was executed by the Adair County Sheriffs Office and KSP. 

 

Arrested were Roger Dean Weston and Dana Kinnett, both of Jamestown, and Justin Kilpatrick of Columbia. They were charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine-1st degree, and Receiving Stolen Property over $500. Weston & Kinnett were also charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence.

 

The investigation is on-going and further arrests may be forthcoming. The case will be presented to the Russell County Grand Jury.

 

Russell County Deputy’s Kenny Perkins and Nathan Bradshaw, Russell Springs Police Officers Lucas Justice and Ethan Pike, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office and KSP assisted in both searches.
