Weather Archives for 2020-11

Wednesday November 25, 2020

A little over a month and I am back with another weather blog for all you guys & gals out there. It has definitely been a busy time since my last blog. So with that being said, let's get ya'll up to date with what is going on with the weather world, especially for your Thanksgiving Day holiday coming up!

As of 4:30 PM today, a Wind Advisory remains in effect for the listening area until 5:00 PM. Wind gusts today have been in excess of around 30 mph, or even higher in some places. We still have the chance of seeing additional showers and maybe even a thunderstorm tonight, even though locally we just experienced the rain this afternoon.

Fast forward to Sunday into Monday, it looks like the "S" word has finally made it's way into the forecast for this season. That's right, SNOW, has made it into the forecast. Nothing major is expected, but for some who are snow lovers, they are definitely enjoying seeing that in the forecast.

Tonight - 70% Rain/Possible Storm; Mostly Cloudy; Lows around the mid-40s.

Thanksgiving Day Thursday - A slight chance of morning sprinkles; Mostly Cloudy; Highs near the mid-50s.

Thursday Night - Mostly Cloudy; Lows around 40.

Friday - Mostly Sunny; Highs around 60.

Friday Night - Partly Cloudy; Lows around the mid 30s.

Saturday - Sunny; Highs near the mid-50s.

Saturday Night - Mostly Clear; Lows between the low-mid 30s.

Sunday - 40% Rain/Snow showers (from early morning into the afternoon); Partly Sunny; Highs around 60.

Sunday Night - 70% Showers; Cloudy; Lows in the mid 30s.

Monday - 50% Showers; Mostly Cloudy; Highs in the mid 40s.

Monday Night - 40% Rain/Snow showers; Lows in the mid 20s.

Tuesday - 30% Rain/snow showers; Mostly Cloudy; Highs around the mid-upper 30s.

Tuesday Night - 20% Snow showers; Mostly Cloudy; Lows in the low-mid 20s.

As always, the forecast is subject to change so be sure to monitor your latest local forecast.

So we will go from some fairly comfortable temperatures to a dip below freezing into the 20s by Monday Night and also Tuesday Night.

I will be keeping an eye on the models the closer to time this forecast approaches for our snow chances, so I can share out a more accurate forecast.

Thanks again for sticking with me through these blogs & I hope you continue to find these helpful & informative.
