Dorothy Marie Holt, 81, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born on November 27, 1944 in Russell County, a daughter of the late Frank and Arvilla Higginbotham Garner.
 

Dorothy retired from the Dietary Department at Russell County Hospital. She deeply loved her family, especially her grandkids. Dorothy also enjoyed working with her flowers.

1 daughter: Teresa Bolin of Russell Springs

2 grandchildren: Rachel Bolin and Bradley Bolin

1 brother: Carlos Garner of Indiana

 1 sister: Jo Ann Zimmerman of Panama City Beach, Florida

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Holt, who passed away on January 27, 1999; her brothers: Ollion Garner and Bobby Lee Garner; and her sisters: Opal McLarty, Carlene McKinney, and Ruby Garner. 
 

Funeral service: Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 2:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Allen officiating

Burial: Dixon Cemetery

Visitation: After 12:00pmCT on Saturday at the funeral home
