Dorothy Murphy, 71, of Columbia, KY passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at her home. She was born on October 30, 1954 in Columbia to the late Wilby and Emma Franklin Murphy.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Elmo Franklin, Robert Franklin, Lewis Bright, and Susie Robinson.
SURVIVORS:
2 brothers: David (Carolyn) Murphy and Clurle “Doc” Murphy, both of Columbia
2 sisters: Maggie Grider of Columbia and Lilly Mae Franklin of Greensburg
Dorothy chose cremation and there will be no funeral service.
