Raydean Smith, 86, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY. He was born March 13, 1940, in Cumberland County, to the late Willie and Lois Anderson Smith.  
 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Smith and a sister in infancy.

Raydean was a member of Pickett’s Chapel Church, retired from Parker Kalon after 35 years and a farmer.

His wife: Margie Sue Rodgers Smith of Columbia

4 sons: Tim Smith of Portland, Greg Smith (Valette) of Elizabethtown, Ricky Smith of Summersville, and Pat Smith (Angie) of Milltown

1 brother: Junior Smith of Campbellsville

1 sister: Wanda Creasy of Covington, Tennessee

5 grandchildren: Jordan Smith (Thomas), Emily Hawboldt (Dan), Ricki Ann Smith, MaKayla Smith, Aaron Smith

1 great-grandchild: Charlotte Jane Smith

2 step-grandchildren & 3 step-great-grandchildren

Funeral service: Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in Columbia, KY with Bro. Larry Wisdom and Bro. Larry Huckaby officiating

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: After 5:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Pickett’s Chapel Church or Gideon Bibles which can be made at the funeral home
