Onda Wayne Burton, 71, of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at his residence. He was born on June 11, 1954 in Columbia, KY to the late Lether Green Burton and Ruthie Mae Bryant Burton.

Mr. Burton enjoyed rabbit hunting with his beagle hounds and listening to rock music.

His nieces & nephews: Dewayne McKinney (Lasara), Rodney Burton (Ashley), Kayla Hagedorn (Vince), Cagney Burton, Suzanna Streeval (Tony), Greg Burton (Amanda), Teresa Burton (Jimmy), Donnie Burton (Sharon), Larry Burton, Phillip Burton, and Connie Rich (David)

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine siblings: Katie Jean McKinney, Wendell, Joseph, Zenith, Jimmy, Ronald “Moonbeam”, Gobbel, Minnie and Wanda Burton; a niece, Norma Hatcher; and a nephew, Kevin Burton.

Burial: Bearwallow Cemetery

Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Sunday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Pallbearers: Jimmy Bailey, Dewayne McKinney, Rodney Burton, Donnie Burton, Randy Hatcher, and Danny Foster
