Donnie Ray Stargle, 81, of Russell Springs, KY passed from this life on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Russell County Hospital. He was born on March 20, 1945 in Casey County, a son of the late Clarence Stargle and Sarah Luttrell Stargle Pickford.  

In his younger days, he was a tobacco farmer and a former employee of Tarter Gate.

3 brothers: Garland Stargle of Russell Springs, Arvin Stargle of Jamestown, and James Stargle of Pensacola, Florida

1 sister: Peggy Pierce of Russell Springs

A host of nieces & nephews

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Ralph Stargle and Kenny Stargle; and two sisters: Easter Passmore and Norma Jean Passmore.

Cremation rites were honored according to the family’s wishes. No services will be held.
