HOWARD BOLT

 

Howard E. Bolt, age 85, of, Liberty, KY, passed away on Sunday January 11th, 2026, at his residence. He was born December 6th, 1940, in Creston, KY, a son of the late Ellis Bolt and Eva Lee West Bolt Bernard.

 

Howard a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was a military veteran who served his country with honor and carried those values of duty, integrity, and sacrifice throughout his life.

 

A hard worker and an honest man, he believed in doing what was right and giving his best in everything he did. He was deeply devoted to his family. His legacy of love, service, and honesty will live on through the generations he helped shape.

 

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

 

Survivors include: his spouse: Ruth Carol Lee Bolt, four daughters: Sandra Lynn Bolt Godbey (Kenny) of Waynesburg, Gwendolyn Bolt Marcum (Donnie) of Liberty, Melissa Dale Bolt Warner (the late Junior) of Hustonville and Samantha Lee Bolt Bastin (Jon) of Dunnville, seven grandchildren: Cassie Godbey, Sarah Brown, Breanna Doll, Madison Isaacs, Cydney Cox, Callie Hixson and Haden Bastin, eleven great grandchildren with two more to be added this year, one sister: Marjorie Linkenhoker of Hopewell, IN and one brother: Roger Bolt of Pipe Creek, TX.

 

Preceding him in death besides his parents was two sisters: Shirley Garrett and Fredia Davis and one brother: Chester Bolt.    

 

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday January 14th, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

 

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday January 15th, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Matthew Isaacs officiating.

 

Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery with Military Honors performed by the Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.
