John P. Gingerich, of Dunnville, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in Liberty. He was 20.

Born on May 17, 2005, in Guernsey County, Ohio, he was a son of Peter M. and Ella Hershberger Gingerich of Dunnville.

John is survived by brothers, Roman (Katieann) Gingerich, Elias (Verna) Gingerich, Neal Gingerich, Peter Gingerich, Jr., Moses Gingerich, Benny Gingerich, Ezra Gingerich, Aaron Gingerich, and Amos Gingerich; sisters, Amanda (Jacob) Gingerich, Saloma Gingerich, Emma Gingerich, Ada Gingerich, and Frances Gingerich; and maternal grandparents, Eli and Ada Hershberger.

John is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Moses and Ella Gingerich.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. EST at the Gingerich home at 272 Jody Thomas Road, Dunnville, KY, 42528.

Burial will follow in the Buckeye Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at their home throughout the week, prior to the service being held on Friday morning.
