FREDIA McCORMICK

 

Fredia M. Crew McCormick age 82, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Thursday September 4th, 2025, at the Casey County Hospital. She was born in Casey Co., KY on October 16th, 1942, to the late Virgil and Inez Ragle Crew.

 

Fredia attended the Church of Christ, she had rededicated her life last September, Fredia owned multiple businesses in South Carolina and Kentucky in her lifetime, she held many benefits for the community. Fredia was a Kentucky Colonel and had one of the biggest hearts and truly found the good in everyone.

 

Survivors include: two daughters: Lorri (Anthony) McKnight of Liberty and Heather (Ken Jaeger) McCormick of Liberty, her grandchildren: Jeremi Luttrell, Jamie (Nikki) Gooch, Jennifer (Zackary) Richardson and Josh McCormick, six great grandchildren: Leah, Braylynn, Raelynn, Eliana, Peyten and Colton, one brother: Arvin Crew and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Preceding her in death besides her parents was one son: Bryan Keith Tarter, one sister: Glynda Gail Andrews, and six brothers: Lloyd, Curtis, Eldie, Bechel, Carlos and John Crew.

 

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Sunday September 7th, 2025, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

 

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday September 8th, 2025, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Don Clark officiating.

 

Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Contown.

 

The family wishes to thank the Casey County Hospital Employees and Dr. Housam Haddad for taking such wonderful care of Fredia
