Katherine “Katie” Harrington age 51, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Tuesday July 15th, 2025, at the Casey County Hospital. She was born in Louisville, KY on December 7th, 1973, to the late Richard Dale Harrington and Thelma Durham Kays.

Katie was a former billing specialist for Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and a former head of patient access in the E.R. at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Survivors include: two sons: Jarrod and (Maddie) Harrington of Burlington, KY and Isaiah Phillips of Danville, two step children: Lee Phillips of Danville and Louren Phillips of Danville, six grandchildren: Payson Harrington, Alie Goode, Will Phillips, Ayden Phillips, Sophya Phillips and Dillon Phillips, one sister: Lanella Germain of Liberty and three brothers: Gale and (Paula) Durham of Liberty, Danny and (Katie) Kays of Yosemite and Ricky Harrington of Yosemite.

Visitation will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday July 19th, 2025, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday July 19th, 2025, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Gale Durham officiating.

Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Bartle Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
