Inez Pettyjohn Woodrum, a beloved wife, mother, mamaw, and great-mamaw, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 13, 2025, at the age of 93 in Louisville Kentucky.
Born on October 5, 1931, in Liberty Kentucky to the late Oscar Lee and Mayme Howard Pettyjohn. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Oscar Lee Jr, Alma, Mildred, Hugh, Helen, Dee, Leon, Ina and Donald.
Inez lived a life marked by grace and a deep love for her family. She was the devoted wife of Bobby Woodrum.
Inez was the proud mother of four children: Sherry Kish (Jim) of Lizton, Indiana; Terri Thomson (Randy) of Indianapolis, Indiana; Gerri Clubb (Steve) Louisville, Kentucky; and Timothy Woodrum (Nick) of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
She was a cherished mamaw to John Kish, Joshua Lynn, Matthew Kish, Nathan Lynn, Micah Lynn and Nick Thomson, and a treasured great-mamaw to Greyson Lynn, Ava Kish, Jameson Thomson, Lexi Kish, Charlie Lynn, Annie Lynn, Adalia Thomson, Townes Lynn, Hollis Lynn, Hadley Paxton, and Zoey Smith. Her joy in watching her family grow was matched only by the love she poured into each of them.
Inez’s life was a testament to the quiet power of devotion-to her family, her values, and the simple beauty of everyday moments. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her enduring patience, and the warmth of her presence.
Her family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy will live on in the hearts and lives of those she loved so deeply.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 19th, 2025, at Caney Fork Cemetery. Rev. Steve Martin officiating.
