Randy Yazell, of Liberty, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Casey County Hospital. He was 60.
Born on November 7, 1964, in Paris, Kentucky, he was a son of Betty Woodrum and the late Marvin Yazell. Randy was the owner and operator of Bluegrass Lubricants. He had a passion for horses and formerly worked on large Saddlebred farms such as Lane’s End Farm. Randy enjoyed reading, listening to music, and loved history and economics. He was a jokester and loved to have fun, with a loving and caring heart.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nataliya Yazell, who he wed on July 25, 2007; a son, Daniel Yazell of Liberty; two daughters, Yasemin Gechgil and Lexi Yazell, both of Liberty; a brother, Marvin (Gabriella) Yazell of Franklin County; a sister, Darla (David) Miller of Finchville; and an aunt, Sharon (Donnie) Dailey of Scott County.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Ted Stidham officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family in offsetting funeral expenses or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
