Pauline (Coleman) Durham age 82 of Yosemite, KY, passed away Sunday January 26th, 2025 at her home. She was born August 21st, 1942, in Yosemite, KY, to the late Ernest and Ora (Lanham) Coleman.
Pauline better known as Polly was the founder of the original Polly’s Shoe located on East 70 and Durhams Mobile Home Park. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. She wedded the love of her life Benjamin Durham on November 12th, 1960.
She is survived by her husband Benjamin Durham (Benny) of Yosemite, one daughter: Brenda Durham (Jon Brown) of Yosemite, one step daughter: Drema (Rick) Scheiba of Hamilton, OH, grandchildren: Missy and (Scott) McComas, Jeremy Durham, Jakie Bell, Jennifer and (Brandon) Nichols, Jerika and (Dustin) Hampto, Josh Durham and Kyndra Cochran, great grandchildren: Austin, Madison, Shelby, Brantley, Blayde, Greyson, Georgia, Briar and Skylin, special great grands: Temperance, Jaxson, Aiden, Emily, two sisters: Betty Moran of Liberty and Peggy Combs of Danville, and special friend: Naomi Goodman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one son: Benjamin Durham (Benji), three sisters: Vivian Black, Frances Dinger and Dorothy Brown and two brothers: Charles and Ernie Coleman.
Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Tuesday January 28th, 2025, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday January 29th, 2025, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Keith Bowling officiating.
Burial will be in the Casey County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Durham, Jakie Bell, Jennifer Nichols, Jerika Hampton, Kyndra Cochran, Dustin Hampton and Jon Brown.
