Davey (D.J.) Coffman age 87, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Tuesday January 14th, 2025, at the Casey County Hospital.

He was born in Casey Co., KY on January 26th, 1937, to the late Willie and Ida Belle Hughes Coffman. D.J. was a former employee of Arvin’s in Franklin, IN. 

D.J. was the widower of Lucille Cox Coffman who passed away on January 8th, 2019.

Survivors include: one son: Davey and (Holly) Coffman Jr of Liberty, and four grandchildren: Danielle Coffman, Candace Wolfe, Nick Coffman and Caleb Compton.

Preceding him in death besides his parents and spouse was two sons: Jeff Compton and Gerald Leon Compton, seven brothers: Curtis, Marvin, Stanley, Forrest, Sherrill, Edward Jack and Albert “Buss” Coffman and three sisters: Catherine Compton, Beatrice Pike, and Irene Gibson.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Friday January 17th, 2025, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.  

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 18th, 2025, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating.

Burial will be in the Tapscott Cemetery.
