James Thomas Scott age 86, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Friday December 20th, 2024, at his residence.

He was born in Adair Co., KY on March 12th, 1938, to the late Ray and Nona Barnett Scott.

Survivors include: one daughter: Sharon and (Roy) Emerson of Liberty, three grandsons: Trae Emerson, Chase Emerson and Clay Emerson, one great granddaughter: Kennedy Rae Emerson, and three brothers: Kenneth Scott, Clisby Scott and Wendell Scott.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was one daughter: Charlene Scott, one son: Rodney Scott and one sister: Mildred Goodin.

Visitation will be held 12:30 P.M. Friday December 27th, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.  

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday December 27th, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Don Clark officiating.

Burial will be in the Barnetts’ Creek Cemetery.
