Garnett Ray Sayers age 77, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Saturday November 30th, 2024, at the Homestead Post Acute.

He was born in Casey Co., KY on October 25th, 1947 to the late Hiram and Exie Harris Sayers.

Garnett was the widower of Connie Clinton Luttrell Sayers who passed away on October 18th, 2019.

Garnett was a farmer, logger, mechanic and a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.

Survivors include: two daughters: Tammy Sayers Dallman of Liberty and Genny Sayers of Liberty, one granddaughter: Allison Dallman of Liberty, two sisters: Artie and (Timmy) Davenport of Liberty, Rosene Goodin of Liberty and one brother: Jack and (Catherine) Sayers of Liberty.

Preceding him in death besides his parents and spouse was two brothers: Roscoe and William Sayers and two sisters: Betty Cundiff and Fayrene Chadwell.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Thursday December 5th, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.  

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday December 6th, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Gary Vest officiating.

Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery with Military Rites performed by the Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.
