Wanda Byrd age 84, of Stanford, KY, passed away on Monday September 16th, 2024, at the Liberty Care and Rehab.

She was born in Gilpin, KY on November 5th, 1939, to the late Arthur “Buck” Hoskins and Lucy Copley Hoskins.

Wanda was the widow of Ernest Lee Byrd who passed away on May 30th, 2013.

Wanda was a housewife.

Survivors include: one daughter: Brenda Hamm of Stanford, one son: Lester Byrd of Liberty, three grandchildren: Samantha Blevins, Jimmie Deward Blevins and David Delk, three great grandchildren: Jacob Wethington, A.J. Jarrett and Brodie Blevins, and five great great grandchildren: Bentley Wethington, Maelee Wethington, Liam Wethington, Harlen Wethington and Weston Jarrett.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was four brothers: Al, Carl, Morris and Boyd Hoskins and seven sisters: Joann Harris, Mabel Morgan, Mary Ellen Morgan, Dorothy Long, Ruth Lawson, Lillian Morgan and Geneva Kay Hoskins.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday September 19th, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.  

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday September 19th, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Kevin Pittman officiating.

Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery.
