Bill Buis, of Campbellsville, KY, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN. He was 68 years old.

Born August 1, 1956, in Boyle County, KY, he was a son of the late Garland and Lizzie Peavley Buis. Bill was a former heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Elkhorn Baptist Church. He enjoyed deer hunting, traveling, NASCAR, holding babies, and working in his yard. Bill loved God and his family.

Survivors include his wife, Jurieta “Jo” Campbell Buis; sons, Chris Buis, Matthew Buis, and Michael R. Lear; daughters, Mary Beth (and Steven) Langford and Sharyah (and David) Glick; brother, Paul (and Brenda) Buis; and 12 grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray Buis; and sisters, Regina Luttrell and Faye Justice.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, September 6, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Poplar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Thursday, September 5, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
