Zilpha Grace Laman 85, of Dunnville, KY, passed away on Wednesday August 7th, 2024, at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born in Odessa, TX, on September 14th, 1938, to the late Nelson H. and Ethel J. Blanton Smelser. Grace was a former registered nurse.

Grace was the widow of Richard Allen Laman Sr.

Survivors include: one daughter: Suzanne Renee Langley of Thomaston GA, two sons: Guy Smelser Laman of Dunnville and Stephen Monroe Laman of Old Fields, W.V., nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was one son: Richard Allen Laman Jr., and four siblings: Onita, Juanita, Stella and Della.

Visitation will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday August 11th, 2024, at Thomas Ridge  Church.  

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday August 11th, 2024, at Thomas Ridge Church. Bro Hershel Lawhorn officiating.

Graveside Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday August 14th, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, TX. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, TX.
