Thelma Kays age 84, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Saturday January 27th, 2024, at the Casey County Hospital. She was born April 10th, 1939, in Liberty, KY, a daughter of the late William Thomas Durham and Effie Nichols Durham.

Thelma was a C.N.A.

Survivors include: five children: Gale and (Paula) Durham of Liberty, Lanella Germain of Liberty, Danny and (Katie) Kays of Waynesburg, Katie Herrington of Liberty and Ricky Herrington of Yosemite, eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters: Eula Wesley, Ina Simmons, Lutricia Sassard and Mary Denson and four brothers: Richard, Albert, Leonard and Manuel Durham.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday January 30th, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday January 30th, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Gale Durham officiating.

Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Bartle Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
