Larry Allen Porter, of Liberty, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Stanford Care and Rehabilitation. He was 80.

Born June 26, 1943, in Liberty, Larry was the son of the late Wateman Porter and Ruth True Mills. Larry leaves behind his wife, Lily Ann Thomas Porter, whom he wed December 30, 1961. Larry was a lifelong carpenter and farmer. He was a member of Church of Christ.

Larry is survived by his wife, Lily Ann Thomas Porter; his sons, John Allen Porter, Larry Wayne Porter, and Daniel Lewis Porter; his daughter, Donna Porter; his half-brother, Donnie Mills; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Porter; his half-brother, Junior Mills; and his half-sister, Dianna Smith.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Yaden officiating.

Burial to follow in Oak Grove Contown Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Travis Buis, Skyler Porter, John Roy, Landon Porter, Robert Augustine, and Ashton Stull.
