Hollis “Howard” Vanoy Jr., age 79 of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 in Danville.
He was born in Liberty, KY on March 21, 1944 to the late Hollis and Lula Vanoy.
Howard was a carpenter, enjoyed coon hunting, and attended Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his two daughters, Sondra Carman (Barry) of Danville and Monica Vanoy of Liberty; three grandchildren, Benjamin Carman, Kate Canter (Caleb), and Jonathan Carman; one great grandchild, Charlotte Canter; and one brother Hershel Vanoy.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nina (Clements) Vanoy, his sister
Maxine, and brothers Coyd, Rollin, and Garland.
Funeral Services will be held at Bartle Funeral Home in Liberty, KY on Thursday, January 25 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Brent Huggins officiating.
Visitation will precede the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery.
