Boyd Hoskins, age 90, of, Liberty, KY, passed away on Tuesday March 21st, 2023, at the Liberty Care Center. He was born March 25, 1932, in Gilpin, KY.

Boyd was the widower of Lela Luttrell Hoskins who passed away on July 23rd, 2019.

Boyd was a farmer and logger.

Survivors include: Two Daughters: Carol and (Mike) Simpson of Danville, and Jill and (Kevin) Spaw of Liberty, One Son-in-law: Ricky Walls of McKInney, Seven Grandchildren: Carrie Willoughby, Jessica Snow, Nathan Spaw, Matthew Simpson, Luis Simpson, Derek Walls and Kasey Walls, Eleven Great Grandchildren: Shelby, Ethan and Owen Willoughby, Brayden and Tucker Snow, Elijah and Olivia Simpson, Addison and Layne Walls, Tipton Walls and Avery Spaw, Six Sisters: Wanda Byrd of Hustonville, Shirley Caro of Louisville, Bonnie Smith of New Salem, Barbara Sims of OH, Brenda Raley of New Salem and Judy Harris of Salvisa.

Preceding him in death was his biological parents: Arthur “Buck” and Lucy Copley Hoskins, the ones who raised him: Lewis and Ruby Fair Copley, Two Children: Fran Walls and Marlo Hoskins, One Granddaughter: Michelle Simpson, Three Brothers: Al, Carl and Morris Hoskins, and Ten Sisters: Joann Harris, Mabel Morgan, Mary Ellen Morgan, Dorothy Long, Ruth Lawson, Lillian Morgan, Geneva Kay Hoskins, Nancy Yocum, Betty Smith, and Peggy Vanhook.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Wednesday March 22nd, 2023, at South Fork Separate Baptist Church.  

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday March 23rd, 2023, at South Fork Separate Baptist Church. Bro. Troy Coffey and Bro. Casey Davis officiating.

Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery.
