Ancil Curtis Vanoy, age 90, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday June 22nd, 2022, at his residence. He was born April 24th, 1932, in Casey County, KY, a son of the late George “Bill” and Rosa Frances King Vanoy.
Ancil was the widower of Evelen Cochran Vanoy who passed away on November 3rd, 2014.
Ancil was a carpenter and farmer.
Survivors include: Two Sons: Gerald and (Angela) Vanoy of Summersville, S.C., and Jeff and (Cynthia) Vanoy of Liberty, One Daughter: Sandy Porter of Liberty, Four Grandchildren: Curtis Gerald Vanoy Jr, Brian Matthew Vanoy, Douglas Adam Porter and Tracey Lynn Porter, Nine Great Grandchildren and Six Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceding him in death besides his parents and spouse was One Daughter: Patricia Vanoy, One Granddaughter: Mendy Vanoy, Two Brothers: Ernest and Hollis Vanoy and Five Sisters: Mamie Allen, Hazel Allison, Lillian Craft, Lois Brown, and Chelsie Followell.
Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Sunday June 26th, 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday June 26th, 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brian Vanoy officiating. Burial will be in the Grace Baptist Cemetery.
