Marie H. Smith, daughter of the late Millard and Lucille Hatfield, was born on March 4, 1944 in Adrian, Michigan and she departed this life on February 2, 2022 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 77 years.

Survivors include; three daughters, Christine Marie Harvey, Loretta "Lori" J. Smith (and Robert), and Dawn Marie Smith (and Shawn); one brother, Kenneth (and Laurel) Hatfield of Nancy, KY; one sister, Lorraine (and Jim) Evans; ten grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, six nieces, and five nephews.

Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by; one son, Albert Owen Harvey, one brother, Gary Duane Hatfield, and one sister and brother-in-law, Rosie (and Jim) Adair.

Marie worked many years as a waitress, and she was a member of the Norwood Church for 30 years. She enjoyed and loved being around her family and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Chris King officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Marie Smith will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 8th from 11:00 a.m. until time for services.

Marie's family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses on the hospice wing Jean Waddle Care Center, Hospice of Lake Cumberland for the excellent and compassionate care they provided Marie and the family.
