Roger Dale Padgett, age 66, of Liberty, Kentucky, formerly of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Wednesday, January 12, 1955, in Boyle County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Hubert & Rosie Adams Padgett.  Roger was the former owner of Padgett’s Garage and currently worked at Toyoda Gosel in Lebanon, Kentucky.  Roger loved old cars and motorcycles.  He will be remembered by many as “Crazy Roger”.

Roger leaves behind three sisters, Joyce Coleman of McKinney, Kentucky, Lucille Justice (Shelby) of Waynesburg, and Eva Hazlett (Jack) of Stanford, Kentucky; special nephew, Shane Padgett (Kimberly) of Waynesburg; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by four brothers, Jim Padgett, David “Tiny” Padgett, Arlie Padgett, & Bob Padgett. 

Public Visitations will be held 5-8PM Friday, October 22, 2021, and 10AM-1PM Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home. 

The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, at the funeral home.  Bro. Vola Brown will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery.
