Susan Jane Fitzsimon, 63, of Bronston, Kentucky passed from this life unexpectedly on Sunday, September 29, 2021 at her home.

She was born on June 7, 1958 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, daughter of the late Sherman and Mildred Keith Phillips.  She was a loving, kind-hearted Person and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her beloved pets.  Susan was a “social-lite” type individual and enjoyed traveling, cooking, especially baking and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents; Sherman and Mildred Phillips, she is preceded in death by a sister; Kathy Christopher.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a daughter; Stephanie Fitzsimon of Bronston, Kentucky, a brother; Sherman (Pam) Phillips, Jr. of Benton Harbor, MI, two sisters; Joanna (James) Young of Stevensville, Mi and Mary Lou Phillips of Benton Harbor, Mi, 5 nephews; Lee Phillips, Alvin Phillips, and Mark Phillips, Dominic Bell, and Steven Phillips, 4 nieces; Kathryn (Rev. Dean) Duncan, Kathleen Basha, Kendra (Kerry) Daniels and Sylvia Phillips along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 8, 2021 in the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company & Crematory. 

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon in the Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Duncan officiating. 

Interment will be in the Quinton Cemetery in Bronston, Kentucky
