OBITS

MARTHA ALLISON

Martha Allison, of Liberty, KY, passed away on October 2 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was 69.

Martha, beloved Mom and Granny, was born on September 5, 1952, to Earl Wilson and Jean Wilson Noll in Cincinnati. After graduating high school at Oak Hills, she worked as a beauty consultant in Louisville before moving to Los Angeles and working as a dental hygienist in Beverly Hills. After moving back to Ohio, she ultimately settled in Liberty, KY, where she married her beloved husband Greg Allison with whom she co-owned a landscaping business for many years.

Martha will be remembered as being wildly artistic. She loved painting gourds, was a talented cartoonist, had an amazing ear for emerging musical talent, she enjoyed rescuing stray dogs, crafting and festive holiday decor, baking homemade bread and cookies, and spoiling her loved ones with love. She had a kind and spirited heart.

She is survived by her husband Greg; her three children, Shaundi Sauser (Jay Sauser), of Cincinnati, Maggie Spears (Kenny Means), of Somerset, and Ashley Falls, (Timo Stavrou-Wilson) of Los Angeles; her five grandchildren, Braeden Fisher, Dylan Hale, JJ Sauser, Morgan Hale, and Leo Wilson; her step-grandchildren McKinley Means and Sawyer Means; and her brother, Michael Wells, of Rocky Ford, Colorado. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Sue Vance.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Brush Creek Christian Church.

Arrangements are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.mckinneybrown.com.
