Rebecca “Becky” Lee Boyd, age 65, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. 

Becky was born February 19, 1956 to William Kelley and Verda Mae Smith in Somerset, Kentucky.  

She attended High Street Baptist Church when she was younger. She worked at McDonalds and Dairy Queen, never met a stranger and was kind to everyone. Becky loved spending time with her family, loved singing, Christian music and making Christmas cards.  

Becky was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steven Boyd; son, Robert Boyd; brother, Pat Kelley; sisters, Debbie Meeks and Sally Haynes. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Jennifer Chaplin (Matthew) of Somerset; sister, Carol Miller of CA; grandchildren, Chelsea Phillip (Mark Price) of Somerset; Chastin Chaplin of Somerset; Charlie Chaplin of Somerset; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Liam and Noah. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. 

Visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 10 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1 P.M. 

Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11 A.M. with Bro. Bobby Bell officiating at Southern Oaks Cemetery.
