Curtis Loveless, age 86, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY.

Curtis was born on December 26, 1934 in Cains Store, KY to the late Ottis Loveless and Nina Dye Loveless.  He was a member of Hopeful Baptist Church.   Curtis was a long-time truck driver and had driven over 6 million miles. 

He is survived by his wife, Gladys “Chris” McClendon Loveless; two sons, Cletus Loveless of Muncie, IN and Dwight Loveless of Muncie, IN; two daughters, Tarie Smith of Muncie, IN and Donna (and Ryan) Ward of LaGrange, KY; three brothers, Louie Loveless of Science Hill, Gale (and Bessie) Loveless of Nancy and Dub (and Carole) Loveless of Nancy; one sister, Carrie Marnhout of KY; five grandchildren,  Ocean Sandifer, Shawtia Sandifer, Michelle Loveless, Jessica Loveless and Tina (and Ryan); sixteen great grandchildren, Maddie Sandifer, Skyler Sandifer, Tina Burell, Abby Burell, Tommy Sandifer, Laylin Sandifer, Jade Loveless, Jeremiah Loveless, Tyler Bane, Madison Bane, Adjrhanna Bane, Elaina Contreras, Junior Contreras, Jesse Contreras, Dimitri Contreras and George; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Pat Loveless, who preceded him on July 31, 2001; nine brothers, Dane Loveless, Doil Loveless, Arthur Loveless, Marion Loveless, Howard Loveless, James Loveless, Leon Loveless, Weldon Loveless and Marvin Loveless; one sister, Melba “June” Loveless Tarter; and five grandchildren, Tabitha, Shane, Skyler, Troy and Chad.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY 42503.

His funeral service will follow on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Joseph Young and Clarence Floyd officiating. 

Burial will be at Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery.
