Judith Elaine “Judy” Haynes, age 80, of Bronston, KY., passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at her residence.

Judy was born on February 18, 1941 in Dryden, VA to the late Fayette and Edith Early Ely. She was a member of Quinton Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends and especially her grandson whom she loved and adored. She was dearly loved by everyone who met her.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Earl “Bob” Haynes of Bronston; a grandchild, Rikk Haynes of Cincinnati, OH; one great-grandchild, Sebastian Haynes; one brother, Don Ely of Cincinnati; one sister, Dorothy Ely of Cincinnati and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard E. Haynes; two sisters, Opal Thomas and Chris Poe and one brother, Tom Ely.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80 Somerset, KY 42503.

A second visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Road Norwood, OH 45212.

Her funeral service will follow on Friday at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
