Charlene Kay (Ledford) Reynolds, 67 of Waynesburg passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Charlene was the loving wife of David E. Reynolds whom she married in January of 1972. She was born on October 13, 1953 in Waynesburg to the late Oney "Jughead" Ledford, Jr. and Hazel (Simpson) Ledford.
Charlene was a retired employee for the Lincoln County School Board having held many positions. She was a former Library and attendance clerk for the Lincoln County Middle School, a former kindergarten teacher assistant at Highland Elementary, and also a teacher and office assistant at Broughtontown Elementary. Charlene also held many positions outside of the school system as well, she managed her and her husband's Lawn Mower shop and was also a vender at the Lake Cumberland Flea Market in Somerset. She enjoyed quilting and making silk flower arrangements in her spare time. Charlene was a loving wife, mother, mamaw and a wonderful friend to many.

She is also survived by four Half Siblings, including her half sister, Diana Sue & Husband, Mike of Crab Orchard
In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by an infant sister; Her Maternal Grandparents, Baxter & Myrtle Simpson who raised Charlene after the death of her mother and Paternal Grandparents, Oney & Eva Ledford.

Honorary Pallbearers Include: Benny Simpson, Charlie Salutsky, Donald Shanks & Dave Moody
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 9th at McKnight Funeral Home with Dr. James C. Baughman officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 8th at McKnight Funeral Home.
