Stacha Louise Hughes, age 99 of Nicholasville, KY passed away on Saturday July 17th, 2021, at the Morning Point of Lexington East. She was born January 26th, 1922, in Casey Co., KY, a daughter of the late James Henry and Cora Lee Tucker Burchell.

Stacha was the widow of Kelly Vernon Hughes.

Stacha was retired from Vogue Rattan.

Survivors include: Four Daughters: Sandra Lee Taylor of Bowling Green, KY, Patty Dale Hughes of Danville, KY, Debra Lane Gibby of Nicholasville, KY and Vivian Ann Gibby of Winter Haven, FL, Twenty Three Grandchildren, Numerous Great Grandchildren and Numerous Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was Three Sons: Davey Garnett Hughes, Hollis Vernon Hughes and Johnny Gregory Hughes, Two Daughters: Wanda Lavern Wesley and Ruby Gail Blakeman, Seven Sisters: Gladys Peavey, Evelyn Shreve, Marie, Eleanore and Blanch Burchell, Elizabeth Stevens and Ruby Belton and Four Brothers: Fielding, Ronald, Home, James and Johnny Burchell.

Visitation will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday July 22nd, 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday July 22nd, 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Michael Dean Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Peavey Cemetery.
