HAZEL PEMBERTON

Hazel Pauline Pemberton, formerly of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. She was 86.

 

Born on November 13, 1934, in Boone County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Clara Elliott Kirkpatrick.

 

Pauline was an LPN at Casey County Hospital for twenty years. She also worked at OshKosh. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Liberty. She was active in Judgement House and Vacation Bible School with her church. Pauline was an avid UK and Cincinnati Reds fan.

 

She is survived by a son, Todd Pemberton (Trish McDonald) of Cox’s Creek; three grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and special friends, Kenneth (Lucy) Pemberton and Tommy (Elaine) Wood.

 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Pemberton; two sisters; and three brothers.

 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

 

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating.

 

Burial will follow in Tapscott Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers will be Steve Wardrip, Mike Jones, Dave Smith, Tommy Wood, Shawn Conley, Jeffrey McDonald, and Joshua McDonald.
