Robert Allen, Jr., 75, of Eubank, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

He was born December 15, 1945 in Clay County; son of the late Robert & Annie (Burkhart) Allen, Sr. He worked as a blacktop layer for Hinkle Construction.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma (Mercer) Allen; a daughter, Amy & (James) Caldwell of Crab Orchard; a stepson, Jimmy Black of Eubank; two sisters, Margaret Grace Hampton of Waynesburg & Ilene Morgan of Eubank; two grandchildren, Isaiah & Emma; three step-grandchildren, Bryanna, Alyssa, & Landon; and a great-granddaughter, Adalynn.

He is preceded in death by a son, Robert Travis Allen; five brothers, Marion Allen, Clarence Allen, Leslie Allen, Bert Allen, & Gib Allen; and five sisters, Ruby Profitt, Anna Barber, Pearl Spencer, Lizzie Burns, & Gladys Wesley.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Allen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
