Ronnie Fred Coner, age 63, of Bronston, KY., passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

Ronnie was born on October 12, 1957 in Detroit, MI to the late Edgar Coner and Nannie Elizabeth Morris Corner. He was retired from Tecumseh Product Company and was a member of the NRA. He loved hunting, fishing and watching baseball and UK basketball. He enjoyed singing, and playing the guitar.

He is survived by a son, James Ed “Jamie” (and Tammy) Coner of Whitsett, NC; two daughters, Elizabeth Marie “Beth” (and TJ) Walden of Somerset, KY; and Amanda Joan (and Jason) Hensley of Bronston, KY; eight grandchildren, Savannah, Devon, Haylee, Layla, Raeleigha, Chase, Erin, and Tucker; one great-grandchild, Easton; one brother, Leonard Coner of Somerset, KY; two sisters, Norma (and Ronnie) Decker of Burnside, KY and Cheryl Vito of Somerset, KY and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Lee Coner and his mother, Nannie Elizabeth Corner; three sisters, Judy Phelps, Wanda “Nonnie” J. Coner and Connie (and Cecil) Morrow and a niece, Cecilia Meade.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral service will follow on Tuesday at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Walden officiating.

Burial will be at Collins Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Hensley, Chase Hensley, TJ Walden, Devon Troxell, Daniel Decker, and Bo Decker.
