Alfred Earl Sanders, 91, of Science Hill, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the Somerset Nursing & Rehab.

He was born January 25, 1930 in Dunham, Kentucky; son of the late William L. & Mary (Hughes) Sanders. He was a truck driver in the coal mining industry and a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Connie (Finley) Sanders; two sons, David D. Finley of Interlatchen, Florida & Roger Lee Mullins of Keystone Heights, Florida; and two sisters, Coleen  Boggs of Inverness, Florida & Wanda Wright of Jenkins, Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Deward, Harlan, & Darrell Sanders; and two sisters, Mildred Greer & Dorothy Stephens.

A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM March 18, 2021 at the Mill Springs National Cemetery with Chaplain Clarence Floyd officiating.

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post # 38.
