Gerald Thomas Henderson, age 69, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at his residence.

Gerald was born on April 9, 1951 in Nancy, KY to the late Leo Henderson and Ethel Weddle.  He was a Mason and Shriner in Ohio.  He was also a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges in Indiana.  Gerald loved fishing, hunting and hanging with his friends at the barn.  He especially loved spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice “Jan” Graham Henderson, whom he married on April 9, 2003 in Indianapolis, IN; one son, Jayson (and Kristen) Henderson of Nancy; one daughter, Lisa (and Michael) Whitson of Nancy; one stepson, Brian (and Ahdieh) Coleman of Glen Carbon, Ill; two grandchildren, Joshua Whitson and Hope Henderson; two step grandchildren, Dean Coleman and Aiden Coleman; five brothers, Joe Henderson of Nancy, Jimmy (and Aggie) Henderson of Lancaster, Claude (Glenna) Henderson of Nancy, Clyde Henderson of New Albany, IN and Paul Henderson of New Albany, IN; one sister, Cora (and Ronald) Hislope of Lexington; many nieces and nephews, other family members; and friends, including a close friend, Dane Rogers.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Merrel Henderson, Charlie Henderson and Eugene Henderson; and one sister-in-law, Linda Henderson.

A Memorial Service and Life Celebration will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:00pm at Gerald’s residence, 1901 Ard Ridge Road, Nancy, KY 42544.  Please feel free to come hungry and join the celebration.
