Coy Allen, of Lexington, passed away on February 21, 2021, at the VA Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was 78.

Born August 4, 1942, in Casey County, KY, he was a son of the late Lured and Della Woodrum Allen. Coy was a retired truck driver and a US Army Veteran. He liked to fish.

Survivors include his sister, Geneva Nichols of Blue Ash, OH; nephews, Greg and Larry; and nieces, Sandy, Tina, and Annette.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin infant children; brothers, Sherrell, Shelby, and Omer Allen; sister, Adele Stafford; and nephews, Mark and Jay.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, February 27, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Newman officiating.

Burial will follow in the Whited Cemetery with military rites by the Casey County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 1:00PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
