Herman Wesley Lawhorn, of Dunnville, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was 78.

Born on March 28, 1942, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late George Lawhorn and Viola Sallee Lawhorn Brown. Herman was retired from Tarter Gate. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was an extremely kind and helpful person. He was a loving, father, grandfather, and brother.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Carol Hamlin Lawhorn of Dunnville; a son, Todd Lawhorn of Dunnville; two daughters, Judy (Alan) Lee of Dunnville and Andrea (Gary) Owens of Liberty; nine grandchildren, Whitney, Noah, Skylin, Chris, Ethan, Lauren, Tiara, Haley, and Wesley; and five great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include a sister, Glenda (Keith) Caudill of Columbia; and three brothers, Jimmie (Vicki) Lawhorn, Donnie (June) Lawhorn, and Roger Lawhorn, all of Dunnville.

Due to Mr. Lawhorn’s wishes no services will be held at this time.
