James Michael “Mikey” Carman, age 27, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, formerly of the Walltown community of Casey County, Kentucky, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Campbellsville. 


Born Saturday, April 24, 1993 in Stanford, Kentucky, he was the son of James Darren “Tabby” Carman of Walltown and Beverly Bowen Carman of Eubank, Kentucky.  Mikey was a member of Walltown Christian Church and was a 2011 Graduate of Casey County High School.


In addition to his parents, Mikey leaves behind two brothers, Jason King of Moreland, Kentucky and Daniel King of Danville, Kentucky; paternal grandmother, Juanita Hatter Carman of Walltown; maternal grandmother, Virginia Leach of Kings Mountain, Kentucky; and several other extended family members whom mourn his passing.


Mikey was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, L.T. Carman; and maternal grandfather, Elmer Lee Bowen.


A Private Funeral Service will be held Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Lynville Hatter officiating the service.


Burial will follow in Dunham Cemetery. Jason King, Daniel King, Zachary Carman, Nathaniel Carman, Brandon Carman and James Bowen will serve as Active Pallbearers.


The Funeral Service will be live streamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page at 2PM.


The Visitation will be held 11AM-1:30PM Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the funeral home.
