Alta Jean Hunt, age 76, of Columbia, KY passed away on Sunday July 19th, 2020 at her residence.

She was born in Clementsville, KY on February 27th, 1944, a daughter of the late Lucian R. Wethington and Grethan Elizabeth Clements Wethington.

Alta Jean was the widow of John Hunt.

Alta Jean was a retired employee from Union Underwear and a former C.N.A.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Treva and (J.D.) Thomas of Dunnville, KY, One Son: Jeff and (Pam) Woodrum of Knifley, KY, Three Grandchildren: Steven Thomas, Katelynn Woodrum and Emilee Woodrum, Three Great Grandchildren: Landon Holmes, Hailey Thomas and Kinsley Thomas and One Brother: Robert Dallon Wethington of Columbia, KY.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was Two Brothers: James Lannie Wethington and Raymond Thomas Wethington and Three Sisters: Sharon Lee Herron, Mary Connie Wethington and Phyllis Kay Wethington.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday July 23rd, 2020 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday July 23rd, 2020 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Father George Otuma officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
