Vina Manell Martin, of Stanford, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Stanford Care and Rehab. She was 77.

Born on July 12, 1942, in Mercer County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Sherman and Nellie Mills Rigney. Vina enjoyed gardening. She was a member of Clearview Baptist Church.

Vina is survived by her daughter, Penelope Pennington of Stanford; a sister, Gladys Piercy of Stanford; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Christopher, and Christian.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Hughes and Esther Rayborn; and two brothers, William Rigney and Joseph Edward Rigney.

No services will be held at this time.
