On Monday afternoon, new Jamestown Police Chief Nathan Antle was officially sworn into office. Mayor Regena Hinton led the ceremony as Chief Antle was sworn in, after his unanimous approval as chief from the City Council.

Former Police Chief Jeff Kerns will be assuming his new position as School Resource Officer at Jamestown Elementary on Wednesday, the first day of school for Russell County students.
