???? Important Notice: Water Conservation Needed ????
The City of Liberty is currently experiencing a severe drought, and we are asking all City of Liberty and East Casey County water customers to take immediate steps to conserve water.
Water levels in Lake Liberty are now dangerously low, and the Kentucky Division of Water has requested that both city and county residents reduce usage as much as possible. Our water supply is under significant strain, and every gallon saved helps ensure that essential services remain available for everyone.
We strongly encourage residents and businesses to limit non-essential water use, including:
• Watering lawns and gardens
• Washing vehicles at home
• Filling pools or hot tubs
• Running water unnecessarily
Simple changes—like fixing leaks, taking shorter showers, and only running full loads of laundry or dishes—can make a big difference.
We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to helping our community through this challenging time. Together, we can protect our water resources and ensure availability for all.
Thank you,
City of Liberty
