A Casey County school bus reportedly struck a cow in the road early this morning, temporarily blocking one lane of KY 49.

The accident happened shortly after 6:30am, approximately 4-5 miles north of Liberty.

There were no children on board at the time, and no injuries reported.

Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle responded to the scene and the road was reopened a short time later.
