The Taylor County Fire Department was called out just before 1 a.m. Monday to assist Clementsville crews on a structure fire at 1680 Bass Ridge Road.
When firefighters arrived, they found a large shop building fully engulfed in flames, with nearby exposures at risk. Multiple departments worked together for more than two hours to bring the fire under control.
The shop housed farm implements and tools, all of which were destroyed. Officials say the building is considered a total loss.
Taylor County responded with three apparatus and fourteen firefighters. No injuries have been reported.
