The Casey County Board of Education also held their final regular meeting of 2025 last night.

Mr. Shaun Pierce gave a comprehensive breakdown of a very complex State Assessment review, followed by Mrs. Luan Williams with a presentation of progress on the District Improvement Plan. Mrs. Williams presentation included 3-5 year goals and objectives for the district.

Mr. Kevin Stephens gave the attendance report. He said the district overall was at 92.34% for the month, and 94.79% for the year.

Some upcoming dates to remember:

Dec. 10th will be the Christmas Breakfast at the Ag/Expo Center;

Dec. 16th there will be a ribbon cutting for the Casey County Middle School Career Lab;

& Christmas Break will be Dec. 20th through Jan. 4th, with a staff work day on Jan. 5th.
